Job summary

PPG's Bristol Paint & Decorator Centre Wollongong is seeking a Sales Assistant to greet customers, assist trades and DIY buyers, and ensure they leave with confidence. No paint experience required—as training will be provided in products and store systems.

This full-time role (38 hours per week) in Wollongong offers hands-on training, supportive leadership, and career development across PPG's national network, with a Monday–Friday 6:30am–4:30pm schedule and occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn about paints, products and store systems.
• Ability to stay active in a busy retail environment.

We're looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Bristol Paint & Decorator Centre in Wollongong. You'll be the friendly face customers see when they walk through the door, helping professional painters, contractors and DIY customers get what they need and leave with confidence.

No paint experience? No problem!

If you've worked in retail, hospitality, customer service or another hands-on environment and genuinely enjoy helping people, we'll teach you everything else.

The setup

• Full-time permanent position (38 hours per week)


• Based at our Wollongong store


• Monday to Friday roster between 6:30am and 4:30pm


• Occasional Saturday shifts (7:00am to 11:30am)


• Full product and systems training provided

How you'll make an impact
