The Salvation Army in Logan, Queensland is seeking a values-driven Casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day store operations and contribute to an inspiring in-store experience for customers and the community. Reporting to the Store Manager, this casual role focuses on Saturday shifts with a rolling roster across the retail area.

You will operate point of sale devices, assist with merchandising, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Formación

• Retail sales experience is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent customer service ability and communication skills.

• Energetic, hands-on and people-oriented.
• Willing to work weekends and across retail locations.
• Available to work Saturdays.

About The Role:

An opportunity for a talented, values-driven Casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day operations and contribute to an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community members.

Reporting to the Store Manager(s), this is a casual role located in Logan, Queensland, with a primary focus on Saturday shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices;
• Sort, price and prepare donations for sale.
• Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation
• Provide exceptional Customer Service
• Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities.

About You:

• Retail sales experience - highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results.
• Alignment with our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
• High energy, hand-on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibly to work a rolling roster including weekends and preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area.
• Availability to work Saturdays
