Job summary

The Salvation Army's Lawnton Salvos Stores are hiring a Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager, delivering an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community. This is a permanent part-time role (25 hours per week) located in Lawnton, QLD.

You will assist with retail sales, price donations, merchandising and customer service, while upholding TSA core values and safety policies across a friendly, busy store network.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Genuine passion and proven ability to deliver outstanding results in a rewarding, complex retail environment.
• Alignment with the values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
• High energy, hands-on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a rolling roster including weekends and preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area.
