Job summary

The Salvation Army Australia is seeking a values-driven Casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day operations and help create an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community members.

Reporting to the Area Manager, the role covers stores across the Peninsula region (Dromana, Hampton Park, Hastings, Mornington, Mount Eliza, Rosebud, Seaford, Somerville). Salary and conditions follow the Retail General Industry Award, Level 1.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Alignment with our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
• High energy, hands-on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a rolling roster including weekends.
• Preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area.

About The Role

An opportunity for a talented, values-driven Casual Sales Assistant to support day-to‑day operations and contribute to an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community members.

Reporting to the Area Manager, this casual position supports stores across the Peninsula region of Victoria, including Dromana, Hampton Park, Hastings, Mornington, Mount Eliza, Rosebud, Seaford, and Somerville. Successful applicants may be required to work across any of the listed store locations as needed. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Retail General Industry Award, Level 1.
