Norco AgriSolutions in Wauchope, NSW, is seeking a Sales Agronomist on a full-time basis to combine agronomic expertise with relationship-based sales, serving local farmers with practical productivity solutions.

You will partner with producers, manage a broad product portfolio, and identify new opportunities while maintaining strong margins and service standards.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience providing agronomic advice across broadacre, pasture, horticulture, or mixed farming systems.
• Strong knowledge of crop nutrition, fertiliser programs, crop protection products, and production systems.
• Current and unrestricted driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide agronomic advice and recommendations to support crop and pasture performance.
• Conduct paddock inspections, crop monitoring, and on-farm consultations.
• Collect and interpret soil and plant analysis results to develop management recommendations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory.
• Deliver sales growth while maintaining strong profit margins and customer service standards.
• Prepare and present technical recommendations, product demonstrations, and grower information sessions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging industry developments.
• Maintain accurate customer, sales, and agronomic records using CRM systems.

Norco AgriSolutions is seeking a motivated Sales Agronomist to join our Wauchope team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an opportunity to combine your technical agronomic expertise with relationship-focused sales, working alongside local producers to deliver practical solutions that improve productivity and profitability.

About the Role:

As a Sales Agronomist, you will partner with farmers and producers to provide expert agronomic advice and tailored solutions across a diverse range of agricultural enterprises. You will build strong customer relationships while growing sales within your territory and identifying new business opportunities.

You will work across our broad portfolio of products and services, including:

• Seed, fertiliser and crop protection products
• Animal health and nutrition solutions
• Livestock nutritional products
• Irrigation systems and farm merchandise

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A qualification in Agronomy, Agricultural Science or a related discipline.
• Experience providing agronomic advice in broadacre, pasture, horticulture, or mixed farming systems.
• Strong knowledge of crop nutrition, fertiliser programs, crop protection products, and production systems.
• A passion for building trusted relationships with farming clients.
• Excellent communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and grow sales.
• Experience using CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
• A current and unrestricted driver's licence.
