Latrobe City Council is seeking a experienced Coordinator Safety and Wellbeing to lead the Safety and Wellbeing function, drive organisational safety strategy, and champion a culture where staff and community stay safe.

In this hybrid role, you will provide expert advice to leaders, monitor compliance with OHS and child safety laws, mentor a specialist team, and deliver data-driven improvements across Gippsland's largest council.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or extensive related safety experience.
• Experience in injury management and/or child safety.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Safety and Wellbeing function, including WHS and injury management.
• Provide strategic advice on safety, compliance, risk, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with OHS and child safety legislation and policies.
• Mentor and develop the Safety and Wellbeing team; drive proactive safety culture.
• Analyse safety and wellbeing data; prepare reports to inform decisions.
• Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs.
