Job summary

Connect Sydney, a joint venture between Service Stream, Boral and Johnson Controls, is inviting applications for a Safety Advisor Graduate to join the 2027 Ignite Graduate Program in Sydney. You will gain exposure to safety management systems, incident investigations, data analysis and reporting, human factors and risk reduction.

The 2-year program blends on-the-job experience with formal development, networking events and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum three-year undergraduate degree in WHS, Engineering or Science from a recognised university.
• Willingness to work full-time for the 2-year program duration from February 2027.
• Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Support safety management systems and safety program delivery.
• Assist with incident investigations and learning analyses.
• Contribute to data collection, analysis and reporting on safety metrics.
• Support risk reduction initiatives and human factors improvements.

Service Stream and Connect Sydney are excited to open applications for a Safety Advisor Graduate to join Connect Sydney, and form part of our cohort for the 2027 Ignite Graduate Program.

Connect Sydney, a joint venture of Service Stream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, in partnership with Transport for NSW, is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone. You will have the opportunity to support a diverse range of sites including the most iconic structures in Sydney! Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance, strategic enhancements, and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydney's transport infrastructure. As our new Graduate, you will gain exposure to multiple facets of safety including safety management systems, incident investigations and learning, data analysis and reporting, human factors and risk reduction, and technology and innovation.

About the program

To be eligible for the program, you must:

• Have completed, or about to complete, a minimum 3-year undergraduate degree such as WHS, Engineering or Science within the last 5 years from a recognised university.
• Be available to work full-time for the 2-year duration of the program from February 2027.
• At time of application, hold Australian/New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
