Job summary

Core Drilling Services in Perth, WA, is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to provide administrative support to the Safety Department across drilling operations, with opportunities to spend time in the field.

You will help develop procedures, manage learning via MYOSH, and assist in risk management and ISO upkeep, reporting to the HSE Manager.

The role is full-time, on-site, with a strong safety culture and opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Work Health Safety (minimum Certificate IV).
• Advanced administration and communication skills.
• Ability to take instruction and learn new computer systems easily.
• HSE experience (2+ years).
• Able to work a 2 & 1 FIFO roster.

Responsibilities

• Develop procedures and online learning via MYOSH.
• Distribute HSE communications to promote safety policy updates.
• Conduct task observations and site inspections.
• Assist with forms in MYOSH and MEX platforms.
• Participate in risk management and incident investigations.
• Support HSE Manager with additional duties.

About The Role

As a Health & Safety Advisor for CDS, you will be focused on providing Administrative Support to the Safety Department across our drilling operations, with opportunity to spend time out in the field, continually improving management systems with support from our HSE Manager, and crews on the ground.

This Role Will See You

• Contribute to the successful execution of initiatives including the development of procedures and online learning administered through the MYOSH platform.
• Assist in the development and distribution of HSE communications to promote understanding of safety initiatives, updates to policy, process, and procedure.
• Conduct task observations, site inspections, assisting with critical control monitoring and ISO accreditation maintenance activities.
• Assist with the creation and update of forms i.e. inspections in MYOSH and MEX plant maintenance platform, based on feedback received from supervisors in the field.
• Participate in risk management activities i.e. incident investigations, and support supervisors in developing their reporting skills.
• Any other task and duties as required by HSE Manager

About You

To be successful in this role you will require the following:
