Job summary

Central Gippsland Health is inviting third-year nursing students to join the RUSON program on a fixed-term part-time basis. You will support the nursing team, deliver safe, effective care, and learn under supervision to gain valuable clinical experience while continuing studies.

The role offers a structured learning environment, access to education and training, and shifts across AM/PM with potential night work in a rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in third year of BN Nursing or BN/Midwifery double degree with NMBA registration via AHPRA.
• Transcript showing successful completion of all undergraduate BN years from an Australian university.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in a professional manner.
• Willingness to learn and develop clinical skills.
• Availability to work AM, PM and possibly Night shifts across 7 days rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in delivering safe, effective care.
• Work under supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife at all times.
• Assist in managing peak activity and support community and aged care facilities.
• Contribute to a positive, learning-focused environment for students.
