Job summary
Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing (RUSON) to join our Education team on a part-time (0.2 EFT) fixed term until 30 June 2027. Multiple positions available, offering hands-on nursing experience while you complete your Bachelor of Nursing.
You will assist with delegated patient care activities, support clinical teams in a safe, person-centred care environment, and engage in multidisciplinary learning within a regional hospital that values development
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing program with clinical placements.
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing.
- Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, person-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses with delegated patient care activities.
- Support patients with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity and comfort.
- Demonstrate commitment to person-centred care and positive patient experiences.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support efficient patient care delivery.
- Communicate clinical concerns promptly to the supervising Registered Nurse.
- Maintain compliance with organisational policies and academic requirements.
