Job summary

Central Gippsland Health (CGH) invites third-year nursing students (RUSON) to join our team as a part-time, fixed-term helper. You will support the delivery of safe, effective care under supervision, across community and aged care settings.

This role offers practical experience while you continue your studies, with access to education and training, salary packaging, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in 3rd year Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent with NMBA registration via AHPRA.
• Be able to provide a transcript showing completion of all undergraduate nursing years at an Australian university.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with a range of health professionals, residents, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in delivering safe, effective care under supervision.
• Assist with care delivery in community and aged care settings during peak activity.
• Work AM, PM and possibly Night shifts across a 7-day rotating roster.
