Job summary

Boort District Health is seeking Registered Undergraduate Students of Nursing (RUSONs) to support delivery of high-quality care in Acute Care, Urgent Care Centre and Residential Aged Care. The role operates under supervision and focuses on developing practical nursing skills in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing, has completed year one, holds AHPRA Nursing Student registration, and can pass all pre-employment checks including a National Police

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing program.
• Successful completion of the first year of a Bachelor of Nursing degree.
• Current registration as a Nursing Student with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated clinical placement experience relevant to delegated activities.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Evidence of required immunisation status.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients and residents with activities of daily living.
• Support the nursing team with delegated care activities.
• Promote patient and resident comfort, dignity, safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient care environment.
• Contribute as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
