Job summary

Flinders University in Murray Bridge is seeking a Rural Student Services Officer to deliver frontline support to students, staff and stakeholders across rural health programs. Based in Murray Bridge, this role combines campus operations, student accommodation coordination and program administration to help deliver high-quality rural education and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgement when supporting students and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to build effective relationships and liaise confidently with a diverse range of people.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Experience coordinating activities, events or operational services and quick learning of new systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver front-line student, staff and stakeholder support while ensuring a welcoming, safe and engaging rural campus environment.
• Coordinate day-to-day operation of campus facilities, student accommodation, fleet vehicles, inventory and maintenance services across Murray Bridge and Mallee region.
• Provide high-quality administrative support for rural teaching and learning activities, including the SA Rural Medical (SARM) program, Rural Clinical School, Allied Health and Nursing placements, and Regional Training Hub initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with students, health professionals, community partners and internal stakeholders while supporting events and initiatives that enhance the rural student experience and promote regional health careers.
• Contribute to the University’s strategic plan to enhance student access and belonging in rural education and workforce development.
