As the Rural Student Services Officer, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for students, staff and stakeholders across Flinders University's rural health programs. Based in Murray Bridge, this customer-focused position combines campus operations, student support, accommodation coordination and program administration to help deliver high-quality rural education and training opportunities. Working closely with the Rural Education Team and a broad range of internal and external partners, you will contribute to initiatives that strengthen rural health pathways and support the development of a skilled regional health workforce.

Flinders Rural and Remote Health SA (FRRHSA) facilitates high quality multidisciplinary health education and research in our State's regional areas. We have a strong national and international reputation for providing community-engaged inter-professional training for medical, nursing, and allied health students. This includes the SA Rural Medical (SARM) program and multidisciplinary rural clinical placements. Appointment to this role is conditional on the completion of required pre-employment checks and declarations, each of which must be satisfactory to the University. These include: Flinders University will require a current completed Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Gender Based Violence Declaration which is satisfactory to the University. The contract of Employment is conditional upon the receipt of these completed compliance checks. A disclosable outcome will not automatically disqualify a candidate from consideration. Each case will be assessed on its individual merits and relevance to the inherent requirements of the role. Staff working in a health care setting are strongly recommended to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in line with the SA Health policy. It is a requirement of this position that the incumbent maintain a current Working with Children Check which is satisfactory to the University in accordance with the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA).
