Job summary

Norco Bowraville is seeking a hands-on Merchandise Sales team member to join our rural products operation. This permanent, full‑time role blends sales, merchandising, customer service, and warehouse duties across the retail store and its drive‑through area.

You will work with local farmers and community customers to recommend products, load orders, support fuel sales, and ensure safe, efficient store operations. A strong customer focus and practical, team‑oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and sales experience.
• Experience in rural retail or warehousing (highly desirable).
• Understanding of the agricultural industry (highly desirable).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Physically capable of handling manual tasks.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Current driver’s licence (essential).
• Forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Providing sales and customer service, including agricultural advice and product recommendations.
• Building strong relationships with customers and supporting repeat business.
• Working across both the retail store floor and warehouse environment.
• Assisting customers in the drive‑through warehouse, including loading products into vehicles and trailers.
• Assisting customers with fuel sales and operation of the store fuel bowser.
• Maintaining store presentation and merchandising displays.
• Assisting with stock, including ordering, receipting, stocktakes and dispatch.
• Processing sales and preparing quotes.
• Assisting with local deliveries as required.
