St Vincent's Hospital Sydney is seeking a Rural Patient Access Coordinator to support cancer services across Sydney. The role involves coordinating travel and accommodation for rural patients, assisting IPTAAS applications, and organizing complex appointments with haematology and transplant services.

You will liaise with patients, referring hospitals and care teams to remove access barriers and improve the patient journey from referral to follow-up, while working in a supportive, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Experience in health administration, care coordination or patient support.
• Experience arranging complex healthcare appointments, travel or accommodation.
• Understanding of rural, regional and remote patients' barriers to specialist healthcare.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and independently resolve coordination issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, patient administration systems and electronic medical records.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate travel and accommodation for rural, regional and remote cancer patients and carers.
• Assist with IPTAAS applications, supporting documentation and reimbursement processes.
• Organise complex appointments across haematology, transplant and cellular therapy services.
• Liaise with patients, referring hospitals, clinicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Help overcome access barriers and improve the patient journey from referral to follow-up.
