Southern NSW Local Health District in Broken Hill is seeking a Palliative Care Registered Nurse to join the Specialist Community Palliative Care Team, delivering patient-centred palliative care for people with advanced life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers.

You will provide a mix of direct, shared and consultative care, working within a supportive team committed to excellent patient experience and community health in a rural setting.

Qualifications

• RN with current registration in NSW or Australia
• Experience in palliative care preferred
• Ability to work in a rural community

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, shared and consultative palliative care within a Specialist Community team
• Collaborate with families and carers to deliver patient-centred care
• Support rural health initiatives and patient experience in Broken Hill area
