Job summary

The Palliative Care Registered Nurse will join the Specialist Community Palliative Care Team providing patient centred palliative care for people with advanced life limiting illnesses, their families and carer. The role will operate as part of a multidisciplinary team across settings, collaborating with primary care, specialist services, community-based services and inpatient facilities in Far West NSW.

• Current AHPRA RN registration with recent clinical experience in palliative care.
• Ability to practice per RN Standards of Practice and codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred palliative care for people with advanced life-limiting illnesses.
• Work across settings with multidisciplinary team and liaise with palliative care health professionals.
