Job summary

Health Workforce is seeking a Vocationally Registered Fellowed General Practitioner in regional Queensland who enjoys teaching and supervising GP registrars. You will balance an active clinical caseload with mentorship in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner.
• Fellowship of RACGP and/or ACRRM.
• Current supervisor approval, or willingness to obtain approval through RACGP/ACRM pathways.
• Demonstrated experience working as a General Practitioner.
• Excellent communication, mentoring and clinical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor GP registrars while maintaining an active clinical caseload.
• Contribute to the development of the rural medical workforce in a busy regional practice.
• Provide supervision and teaching within the practice and training framework.
