Job summary

MLHD Hay Health Service is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead nursing education and the professional development of the local nursing team.

You will deliver evidence-based programs, mentor staff and students, and contribute to district education initiatives. The role is Temporary Part-Time (20 hours per week) until 13 September 2027, with incentives under the NSW Rural Health Workforce Scheme and a salary of AU$124,273.70–AU$128,301.89 plus super and leave loading.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate clinical education and professional development
• Orient, supervise and mentor staff, students and TPP participants
• Promote clinical leadership, best practice and a positive learning culture
• Contribute to district-wide education, training and policy development
• Provide unit-based and individual education and skill support
• Delegate and support Nurses and others within scope of practice
• Maintain contemporary practice and meet CNE/CME Framework requirements
• Participate in audits, quality activities and care delivery aligned with safety standards
