Job summary

The Royal Palace Indian restaurant is seeking multiple chefs for full-time, permanent roles across our locations in Mona Vale NSW, Terrigal NSW, Sans Souci NSW, and Sydney CBD NSW. A diploma in culinary field or equivalent experience is required; sponsorship can be considered for overseas candidates.

Salary range offered is $80,000 to $82,000 plus superannuation. Open to local residents and overseas professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of diploma in a culinary field, or equivalent experience as a Chef.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen operations by example and manage the kitchen staff schedule to ensure smooth flow of activities.
• Cook and present signature dishes as well as diet-specific meals as per orders, in a timely manner and correct sequence.
• Create menus to lead the market and enhance the brand's success.
• Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, manage the kitchen budget, and control wastage.
• Ensure kitchen safety, sanitation and regulatory compliance, and stay updated with industry trends.
