Job summary

Brightwater Care Group in Western Australia is seeking a proactive Rostering Officer to coordinate staff rosters for Residential Aged Care services, ensuring safe, consistent and person-centred care for clients with complex needs. You will operate within a central rostering team to balance client requirements, staff availability and compliance.

This 12-month, 67.5 hours per fortnight, fixed-term part-time role offers flexible work arrangements and opportunities to grow within a leading WA care

Qualifications

• Extensive rostering or workforce coordination experience in aged care or disability services.
• Proven ability to balance client needs with workforce availability.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and teams.
• Proven attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff rosters to ensure safe, consistent, person-centred care.
• Work within the centralised rostering team to place staff at the right times.
• Ensure compliance with workplace policies and funding requirements.
• Support ongoing rostering process improvements.

Rostering Officer – RAC (Fixed Term – Part time)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive and organised Rostering Officer to support Brightwater’s Residential Aged Care (RAC) services. In this fast-paced role, you will coordinate staff rosters to ensure safe, consistent, and person-centred care for clients with complex needs.

Working as part of a centralised rostering team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the right staff are in place at the right time—balancing client needs, workforce availability, and compliance requirements.

This role is being recruited on a permanent part-time basis working 67.5 hours per fortnight for a 12-month period

What you’ll bring

• Experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination
• Understanding of Aged Care or Disability Scheduling or Rostering
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Confidence using rostering systems and Microsoft Office
• A flexible, team-focused and customer-centric approach
• A valid NDIS clearance.
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance issued within the past 12 months.
• A current valid WA driver’s licence.
