Peppers Clear Mountain is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team on a casual basis. Based in Clear Mountain, QLD, this role offers flexible hours in a resort environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to high standards (beds, vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms).

• Remove rubbish and maintain tidiness of rooms and trolleys.
• Follow health and safety protocols and use cleaning products safely.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping team to ensure smooth turnover.

What you'll be doing

Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to the highest standards, including bedmaking, vacuuming, dusting and bathroom sanitation

Restocking rooms with fresh linens, toiletries, and amenities

Inspecting rooms for maintenance issues and reporting them to management

Removing rubbish and ensuring rooms are left in pristine condition

Maintaining housekeeping trolleys and supplies in an organised manner

Following health and safety protocols and using cleaning products safely and responsibly

Communicating effectively with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient room turnover

What we're looking for

Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality, ideally in a hotel or resort environment

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Physical stamina to perform manual duties, including standing, bending and lifting

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Friendly, professional demeanour and positive attitude towards guests and colleagues

Reliability and flexibility with scheduling, as casual hours may vary

Basic knowledge of cleaning products and techniques, or willingness to learn
