Job summary

PROTECH is seeking an experienced Roller Operator for a major civil earthworks project in the Toowoomba Region, about 50 minutes from Toowoomba. Local Toowoomba region work with no accommodation provided.

The role is 3-4 months with potential for more work. Day shift, 10 hours per day, with competitive hourly rates, penalty rates and daily allowances. Travel time to site is paid.

Qualifications

• Civil experience / Bulk Earthworks (Must have)
• RII Roller and experience (Must Have)
• Open Drivers Licence (Must have)
• HR Truck Licence (Preferred)
• Construction Site Safety Induction Card (Must have)
• Recent work history in these roles (Must be provided upon application)

Responsibilities

• Operate Roller for Civil Earthworks and Infrastructure Project
• Promote Safe Operating Procedures/SWMS/JSEA’s
• Conduct Pre Start Checks on Roller
• Perform basic maintenance checks and report issues
• Work with other construction personnel to ensure efficiency and coordination

Protech are seeking an “experienced” Roller Operator to start as soon as possible on a major project in the Toowoomba Region, 50 mins from Toowoomba.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• This is a local Toowoomba Region job – no accommodation available


• 3-4 months’ work with the possibility of more ongoing work


• Day Shift / Monday – Friday 10 hours per day


• Great hourly rates + penalty rates and daily allowances


• Travel daily or travel time paid to and from work site

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ROLES REQUIRED

• Operating Roller for Civil Earthworks and Infrastructure Project


• Promote – Safe Operating Procedures/ SWMS/ JSEA’s


• Conduct Pre Start Checks on Roller


• Performing basic maintenance checks and reporting any issues with the roller


• Working with other construction personnel to ensure efficient operation and coordination
