Job summary

Our client in Queensland is seeking an experienced Roller Operator for an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension. You will operate and maintain plant equipment safely, perform pre-start inspections, and assist with labouring duties as required.

Requirements include a Roller Operations Statement of Attainment or relevant ticket, Construction White Card, and a current Queensland Class C Driver’s Licence. Camp accommodation may be provided for work away, with preference for locals.

Qualifications

• Roller operations ticket or statement of attainment required.
• Construction White Card is mandatory.
• Current Queensland Class C Driver’s Licence at minimum.

Your new company Our client services a diverse region spanning almost 60,000 square kilometres and supporting approximately 30,000 residents across thirteen thriving communities, including Emerald, Blackwater and Capella. Responsible for delivering essential services, maintaining infrastructure, and driving community development, they play a key role in one of Queensland’s most significant mining and agricultural regions. Due to ongoing project requirements, they are seeking an experienced Roller Operator to join their team on an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension.

Your new role

• Operate and maintain plant equipment safely and efficiently

• Assist with general labouring duties as required
• Complete pre-start inspections and report hazards or defects promptly
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors

What you’ll need to succeed

• Roller Operations Statement of Attainment or relevant ticket
• Construction White Card
• Current Queensland Class C Driver’s Licence (minimum)
• Ability to work across rural sites, including staying in camp accommodation when required
• A positive attitude and flexibility to undertake both operating and labouring duties
