Job summary

Ozcare is seeking casual Care Assistants to support clients across the Rockhampton region. You will provide high-quality care aligned with personalised plans, assist with daily living activities, and support clients to maintain independence.

Role requires a reliable vehicle, immunisation readiness, and current First Aid/CPR certificates. You will join a caring team focused on wellbeing, with reimbursement for travel and kilometres, and uniform allowances.

Qualifications

• Warm, caring and positive personality suited to client-focused care.
• Reliable vehicle ownership and ability to travel between clients.
• Current immunisation or willingness to vaccinate as per policy.
• Licensed to drive in Queensland with roadworthy vehicle and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to clients according to care plans.
• Assist clients to develop skills for independence.
• Assist with personal care needs (showering, dressing, daily activities).
• Assist with medication requirements.
• Collaborate with care team using a holistic approach to client care.
