Job summary

Imitation Machines is seeking entry-level Software Engineer Interns in Sydney, Australia to build a real-time interface for human-robot interaction and to integrate it with cutting-edge learning algorithms. The role involves setting up simulation frameworks, developing robot integration software, and collecting demonstration data.

You will work closely with the founding team and gain exposure to a deep-tech startup environment, with remote/hybrid options for Australia-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Strong intuition of good code and software architecture.
• Familiarity with robotics software and control algorithms.
• Experience with robotics simulators MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, Gazebo.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2.
• Efficient code development and deployment practices.
• Self-driven builder mentality.

Responsibilities
