Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an internship in robotics software development to contribute to software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, and to help design and develop software services across Anduril’s system landscape. You will work on software for robotic platforms, collaborate with electrical, mechanical, robotics, and software engineers, and contribute to testing and simulation fixtures.

Qualifications

• Pursuing tertiary education in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Approaching final year at the time of the internship.
• Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, concurrency, testing, and robotics engineering at a level commensurate with a high performing undergraduate student.
• Experience writing software with one or more of C++, C, Rust, or Python.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Highly motivated learner with a bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing value for end-user.
• Contribute to design and development of existing software services across Anduril.
• Develop software on- and off- robotic platforms using diverse technologies.
• Contribute to robotic software and hardware, including full lifecycle testing, monitoring and operation.
• Contribute to test and simulation fixtures that operate with software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support product manufacturing and deployment.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary engineering team (Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Software).
