Job summary

Club Assist, part of the Australian Motoring Services Group, seeks a mobile roadside technician to diagnose vehicles, sell and install batteries, and provide practical mechanical advice to customers across Brisbane Metro.

You will work a flexible rotating roster with an operational vehicle and PPE, delivering services professionally while maintaining records and safety standards. An unrestricted QLD driver’s licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted QLD Driver’s Licence.
• Genuine care for helping people and delivering excellent service.
• Battery/auto electrical or automotive knowledge preferred.
• Weekend or evening availability.
• Reliable, organised and punctual with attention to detail.
• Commitment to Health, Safety and Environment standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics to vehicles at the roadside and service batteries as required.
• Sell and install batteries and offer trusted mechanical advice.
• Deliver and promote services in a professional manner.
• Follow policies, keep financial/administrative records up to date.
• Work safely at all times and report faults or damage to equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of company vehicles, facilities and PPE.
• Role suitable for auto electricians or mechanics who are good with customers.

In this role, you’ll be the hero of someone’s bad day. As the friendly face of Club Assist — part of the Australian Motoring Services Group — you’ll provide professional, supportive roadside assistance to members and customers of Australia’s leading motoring clubs across Brisbane Metro.

Provide diagnostics to vehicles at the roadside, and sell and install batteries, as required

give trusted and helpful mechanical advice to customers

deliver and promote our services efficiently and professionally

work to our policies and processes, including ensuring your financial and administrative records are kept up to date

work safely at all times, taking into account the health and safety of yourself and others

ensure cleanliness and working order of all company vehicles, facilities, tools, equipment and uniforms, and report any faults or damage
