Job summary

Club Assist on the Sunshine Coast, QLD is seeking a Roadside Responder/Auto Technician to diagnose vehicles at the roadside and provide trusted mechanical advice. You’ll join a flexible full-time team with a rotating roster, an operational vehicle, tools and PPE provided, and ongoing development opportunities.

You’ll help customers get back on the road safely and efficiently. You’ll be reliable, organized and punctual, with a trade certificate desirable.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic or automotive electrician with trade certificate preferred.
• Customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Battery and auto electrical knowledge desirable but not mandatory.
• Reliable, organized and punctual with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostics to vehicles at the roadside, and sell and install batteries, as required
• Provide trusted and helpful mechanical advice to customers
• Deliver and promote our services, efficiently and professionally
• Account for all stock movements on a daily basis
• Ensure our policies and processes, including financial records, are up to date
• Maintain cleanliness and working order of all Roadside Assistance vehicles, tools and PPE; report faults

We're looking for aRoadside Responder/Auto Technicianto join us in theSunshine Coast, QLD.

In this role, you’ll be the hero of someone’s bad day. As the friendly face of Club Assist, you’ll provide professional, supportive roadside assistance to members and customers of a local motoring club in the Sunshine Coast.

What you'll do:

• Provide diagnostics to vehicles at the roadside, and sell and install batteries, as required
• Provide trusted and helpful mechanical advice to customers
• Deliver and promote our services, efficiently and professionally
• Account for all stock movements on a daily basis
• Ensure our policies and processes, including ensuring your financial and administrative records are kept up to date
• Maintain cleanliness and working order ofall Roadside Assistance company vehicles andfacilities, tools, equipment and reportany faults or damage

What we're looking for:

• Self starter with a can-do attitude
• Qualified mechanic/automotive electrician, with a Motor Vehicle Trade Certificate (Desirable)
• Customer service skills and the ability to build customer relationships
• Battery and Auto Electrical or Automotive industry knowledge, not mandatory but desirable
• You’re reliable, organised and punctual, and have great attention to detail
