Fulton Hogan in Victoria is seeking Road Workers to join our team for planned maintenance across the Barwon South West contract, based at Warrnambool depot. The role is open to applicants with a HR or HC licence (MR acceptable) and includes outdoor work in all weather conditions.

You will perform vegetation control, pothole repairs, sign maintenance and other road maintenance tasks, with safe operation near live traffic and participation in pre-starts, toolbox talks and data capture.

Qualifications

• Current vehicle licence (HR or HC; MR acceptable) required or beneficial.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card) required.
• Mobile plant operation experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and nights.
• Interest in outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Vegetation control, graffiti removal, pothole repairs and sign maintenance.

What's on offer?

We are looking for Road Worker's to be part of our team, undertaking planned maintenance work across the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract - Barwon South West, working closely with the Department of Transport and Planning. Ideally you will hold a HR or HC licence (MR acceptable). The team is open to reviewing applications from both experienced candidates and those who are interested in making a start in the industry.

You will be responsible for:

• Tasks include vegetation control, graffiti removal, pot hole repairs & sign maintenance Mobile plant operation.
• Road work construction and maintenance and safe operation near live traffic
• Toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project specific data capture
• Other activities include: asphalt laying physical duties such as; shovelling, raking, brooming.

Positions are based at our Warrnambool depot.

Candidates will need to have:

• Availability to work overtime, weekends and nights when required
• A current vehicle licence (HR or HC licence beneficial)
• Construction induction card
• Mobile plant experience would be beneficial
• An interest in working outdoors, in all weather conditions.

The pre-employment process will include a medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.
