Job summary

Fulton Hogan in Echuca, VIC, is seeking a Road Worker to join our depot. You will undertake vegetation control, pothole repairs and sign maintenance, while helping deliver planned maintenance programs and resurfacing works.

The role requires a White Card, a MR truck licence, and willingness to work overtime or on-call. We value safety, reliability and teamwork, and offer on-site duties in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a Construction Induction Card (White card).
• Possess a Medium rigid truck licence.
• Be available for overtime and call-outs as required.

What's on offer?

Fulton Hogan is proud to have been awarded the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract with the Department of Transport and Planning, which commenced from 1 July 2026.

This means we will be on the ground delivering critical road construction, maintenance and resurfacing works throughout the Loddon Mallee Region, including:

• Working on planned maintenance programs designed for long-term performance
• Rebuilding and rehabilitating major road sections
• Delivering high-quality resurfacing works across priority networks
• Responding to urgent repairs to keep roads operational

As a result, Fulton Hogan is looking for a Road Worker based in our Echuca depot.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake vegetation control, graffiti removal, pothole repairs and sign maintenance
• Operate mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently
• Carry out road construction and maintenance works near live traffic in a safe manner
• Participate in toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts
• Complete risk assessments and project-specific data capture/documentation

About you

• Previous experience in Infrastructure Maintenance beneficial
• Hold a Construction Induction Card (White card)
• Hold a Basic Worksite Traffic Management Ticket (desirable)
• Hold any valid tickets for your relevant area of expertise
• Hold a Medium rigid truck licence.
• Be willing to be flexible and adaptable for a multitude of tasks
• Possess a strong commitment to safety
• Be available to work overtime as required
• Be available for call-out work when required (day, night and on weekends)
• Be a strong team player, reliable and hard-working
