Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Red Cliffs, VIC is seeking a hands-on infrastructure maintenance worker. You will perform maintenance on roads and related assets, assist with resurfacing and traffic management, and support safety-focused operations in a challenging outdoor environment.

Applicants should have construction induction, traffic management basics, and be prepared for overtime and call-out work while contributing to a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure maintenance is beneficial.
• Construction Induction Card (White card) is required or desirable.
• Basic Worksite Traffic Management knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Undertake vegetation control, graffiti removal, pothole repairs and sign maintenance.
• Operate mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out road construction and maintenance works near live traffic in a safe manner.
• Participate in toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts; complete risk assessments.

What’s on offer? Fulton Hogan is proud to have been awarded the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract with the Department of Transport and Planning, which commenced from 1 July 2026. This means we will be on the ground delivering critical road construction, maintenance and resurfacing works throughout the Loddon Mallee Region, including: Working on planned maintenance programs designed for long-term performance Rebuilding and rehabilitating major road sections Delivering high-quality resurfacing works across priority networks Responding to urgent repairs to keep roads operational

Location: Red Cliffs region

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake vegetation control, graffiti removal, pothole repairs and sign maintenance
• Operate mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently
• Carry out road construction and maintenance works near live traffic in a safe manner
• Participate in toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts
• Complete risk assessments and project-specific data capture/documentation

About you

• Previous experience in Infrastructure Maintenance beneficial
• Hold a Construction Induction Card (White card)
• Hold a Basic Worksite Traffic Management Ticket (desirable)
• Hold any valid tickets for your relevant area of expertise
• Hold a Medium rigid truck licence.
• Be willing to be flexible and adaptable for a multitude of tasks
• Possess a strong commitment to safety
• Be available to work overtime as required
• Be available for call-out work when required (day, night and on weekends)
• Be a strong team player, reliable and hard-working
