Job summary

Victoria Police is seeking a Team Leader within the Road Policing Enforcement Division to oversee day-to-day operations and administrative activities in RPED. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating training, and ensuring compliance with legislative and local procedures while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

The successful candidate will have leadership experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interpret complex policies.

• Experience in a leadership capacity (coaching and developing staff).
• Ability to interpret and apply complex legislation/policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, supervise and manage administration and personnel functions of the Unit, providing motivation, mentoring and training coordination.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for efficient business practices.
• Direct and manage the flow of active files to ensure timely processing and compliance with procedures.
• Undertake a range of administrative, auditing, financial and purchasing tasks including briefs and reports for Senior Management.
