Job summary

APG Workforce is seeking an experienced Road Worker for a 6-month contract within a Government sector role based in Singleton.

This role supports the construction and maintenance of road infrastructure across the NSW state highway network. You will be part of a crew delivering a range of road maintenance and civil works.

9-day fortnight, generally 7:00am – 4:00pm, with a pay rate of $45.45 per hour + Super. MR/HR licences are preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• WoF (Workers on Foot) required.
• General Construction Induction (White Card) is required.
• Current valid driver’s licence required.
• Traffic Control tickets – TCR and IMP required.
• MR/HR licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of existing pavements and drainage systems.
• Construction and upgrade of pavements and drainage infrastructure.
• Installation and maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage.
• Road maintenance works including minor and heavy patching.
• Repairs to guardrails and safety barriers.
• Vegetation removal and general labouring duties as required.
