Job summary

APG Workforce is recruiting experienced Road Workers for a 6-month contract in Lithgow to support NSW road infrastructure projects. The role involves day shifts on a 9-day fortnight, with occasional night works depending on operational needs.

You will join a crew delivering road maintenance and civil works across the NSW state highway network, performing pavement and drainage tasks and installing roadside fixtures and signage.

Qualifications

• WoF (Workers on Foot) certification required.
• General Construction Induction (White Card) required.
• Current valid driver’s licence essential.
• Traffic Control tickets - Traffic Controller (TCR) and Implementer (IMP) required.
• MR/HR licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of pavements and drainage systems.
• Construction and upgrade of pavements and drainage infrastructure.
• Installation and maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage.
• Road maintenance works including minor and heavy patching.
• Repairs to guardrails and safety barriers.
• Vegetation removal and general labouring duties as required.

• 9-day fortnight Monday to Friday, generally 7:00am - 4:00pm
