Job summary
Connect People is seeking experienced Road Maintenance Workers with MR licences to join our team at the Rydalmere depot. You will perform planned and reactive road maintenance across Sydney’s road network, working Monday to Friday with both day and night shifts.
The role offers a temp to perm pathway, with day shifts paid at $41.46 per hour plus super and night shifts at $51.41 per hour plus super. Suitable candidates will have road construction or maintenance experience and the ability to work
Qualifications
- MR Licence or higher (essential)
- Experience in road construction or maintenance
- Experience working around live traffic environments
- Strong workplace safety understanding
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on labouring tasks
- Reliable and safety-focused team player
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive road maintenance works
- Vegetation control and roadside maintenance
- Graffiti removal
- Pothole repairs and asphalt maintenance
- Road sign installation and repairs
- Minor concreting works
- General civil labouring and hands-on maintenance tasks
- Working safely around live traffic environments
- Operating vehicles, tools and equipment as required
