Job summary

Flinders Shire Council is seeking a Road Maintenance Supervisor - RMPC to oversee road maintenance works under the State contract. The role coordinates inspections, defect responses, routine and emergency works, and contractor activities while ensuring safety and contract compliance.

The successful candidate will supervise field crews, manage records for claims and audits, and work with the Civil Works Coordinator to deliver programs in line with TMR standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of road maintenance practices, defect response and traffic management.
• Ability to supervise field crews, plant operators, contractors, apprentices or trainees.
• Strong focus on WHS, contractual compliance, and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of road maintenance activities under the RMPC contract.
• Coordinate inspections, defect responses, routine maintenance, emergency works and contractor activities.
• Lead crews, oversee traffic management and maintain required records for contract compliance.
