Job summary

Moira Shire Council is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Planning and Delivery Manager to lead design, procurement, and project delivery for community infrastructure across the Moira region. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and ensure shovel-ready projects aligned with Moira2045.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, governance, and delivering high-quality design solutions within council policies.

Qualifications

• Highly developed problem solving related to brownfield projects.
• Extensive experience in project management and contract management.
• High quality oral and written communication skills and negotiation skills.
• Extensive experience managing large municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design and preparation of projects to shovel ready status, including stakeholder consultation, permits and design.
• Facilitate cross-functional design working groups for project preparation.
• Foster a positive team culture with engagement, accountability and collaboration.
• Attend meetings and support design teams and internal stakeholders throughout planning and delivery.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for governance and stakeholders.
