Qualifications

• Experience operating council or similar road construction plant and equipment.
• Ability to follow work instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Current WorkCover Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card).
• Current HR Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate Council plant and equipment across various projects.
• Assist with construction and maintenance of roads, pavements and infrastructure.
• Perform daily plant inspections, servicing and routine maintenance per requirements.
• Operate plant and equipment safely in line with statutory requirements.
• Assist with traffic control and maintain safe traffic flow around sites.
• Install signage and roadside furniture as required.
• Complete daily plant checks, timesheets and documentation.
• Undertake other duties and training as directed.
