Job summary

Rylstone District Hospital and Community Health Service seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract basis. Based in Rylstone, NSW, the role supports clinical operations with ED leadership and team coordination from 30 November 2026 through to 21 February 2027.

Ideal candidates will have ED experience, ALS certification, and a track record of leadership in the ED, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver rapid, high-quality patient care.

Rylstone District Hospital and Community Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract basis. The successful candidate will bring ED expertise and leadership capability to support the department's clinical operations.

• 12-week contract role in a busy Emergency Department setting
• Opportunity to lead clinical care and support team coordination as an In Charge nurse
• Based in Rylstone, NSW with a clear end date of 21 February 2027

Preferred Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working in an Emergency Department environment
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Proven ability to work in an In Charge or leadership capacity within the ED
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in Emergency Nursing
• Additional emergency care certifications (such as TNCC or ENPC) are advantageous
