Job summary

Job description

Our client, Bonalbo Hospital, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team on a contract basis from as soon as possible through to 17 January 2027. This is a senior nursing role covering the Emergency Department, Residential Aged Care Facility, and Multipurpose Service in Bonalbo, NSW. The successful candidate will bring strong clinical leadership and the ability to work in charge across a busy, diverse patient population.

• Senior-level nursing role with responsibility for emergency triage and acute patient care
• Contract position, ASAP to 17 January 2027, with flexibility based on your start date
• Opportunity to lead clinical practice across ED, RACF, and multipurpose settings in a regional hospital

Preferred Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department environment
• Proven competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Ability to work in charge and lead nursing teams across multiple service areas
• Strong clinical decision-making skills in fast-paced, high-acuity settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
• Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
