Batemans Bay District Hospital in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 5 October to 16 November 2026. Batemans Bay District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 5 October to 16 November 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy ED environment while working with a dedicated clinical team in a regional NSW setting. The role offers the chance to practise high-acuity nursing across a range of emergency presentations in a supportive healthcare setting.

• Six-week contract placement in a regional emergency department
• Hands-on experience across triage, resuscitation, and acute patient care
• Work alongside an established ED team in Batemans Bay, NSW

Preferred Requirements

• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Demonstrated competence in emergency triage assessment
• Proficiency in cannulation and venepuncture techniques
• Experience with ventilation support and acute respiratory management
• Solid clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ED environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
• Additional emergency-focused certifications (such as TNCC or ENCC) are advantageous
