Job summary

Harden District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute care team on a 12-week contract basis. This in-charge role offers the opportunity to lead a busy ED environment while providing high-quality patient care in a regional NSW setting.

The successful candidate will start immediately and bring strong clinical experience across emergency, acute, and aged care settings to support patient flow and triage in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in emergency department, acute care, or aged care nursing.
• Proven in-charge or team leadership experience in a clinical setting.
• Triage experience is essential, with competence in patient assessment and prioritisation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing clinical priorities.

Preferred Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA

• Triage experience is essential, with competence in patient assessment and prioritisation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing clinical priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
