Job summary

Culcairn Multi-Purpose Service in NSW seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute Care team on a 12-week contract, starting as soon as possible. This in-charge role draws on your clinical leadership in a busy, community-focused setting, with responsibility for triage, patient assessment and coordinating acute care delivery.

Culcairn Multi-Purpose Service in NSW is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute care team on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an in-charge role that will draw on your clinical expertise and leadership capability in a busy, community-focused healthcare setting. You'll take on responsibility for triage, patient assessment, and the coordination of acute care delivery across the department.

• 12-week contract role with an immediate start in a regional ED and acute care environment
• In-charge responsibility with scope to lead clinical decision-making and team coordination
• Opportunity to apply your triage expertise and ALS2 training in a multi-purpose service setting

Preferred Requirements

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Demonstrated experience working in emergency department and acute care settings
• Proven in-charge experience, including team leadership and clinical prioritisation
• Current ALS2 (Advanced Life Support) training and certification
• Solid triage experience using the Australasian Triage Scale or equivalent assessment framework

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
• Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated ongoing professional development in emergency or acute care nursing
• Additional certifications in trauma, critical care, or emergency nursing practice
