Job summary

Bathurst Base Hospital in Bathurst, NSW is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 12-week contract in the Acute Ward, starting 12 October 2026 and finishing 3 January 2027. You will join an established acute care team in a regional hospital setting, delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The successful candidate will have acute ward experience, AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and current First Aid/CPR, along with strong clinical assessment and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working in an acute ward or acute care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills in a high-acuity environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Sound time management and prioritisation skills in a busy ward.
• Professional communication and documentation practices in line with clinical standards.

Job description

Bathurst Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Acute Ward team on a 12-week contract basis, commencing 12 October 2026 through 3 January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced acute care nurse to contribute to a busy hospital environment while gaining valuable contract experience in a regional setting.
