Downunder People is seeking an experienced RN for a unique aged care role in Coober Pedy, SA. The position supports 10 Indigenous residents needing low to moderate care in a 24-hour facility and 23 Indigenous residents living in the community.

You will join a small, culturally aware team of nurses and care workers, with relocation and single accommodation assistance provided. Flights and competitive remuneration are offered in a rewarding remote setting.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration and RN qualification.
• Experience with aged care in remote communities.
• Strong communication skills with Indigenous communities.
• Computer literacy and ability to use electronic patient databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to 10 Indigenous residents requiring low to moderate care in a 24-hour residential facility.
• Support 23 Indigenous residents living independently in the community.
