Job summary

Tabcorp in Melbourne is seeking a trusted adviser to connect enterprise risk strategy with operational delivery across a portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk Advisory, you’ll partner with leaders to embed risk and compliance into business planning and everyday operations.

You’ll lead risk assessments, review events for root causes, and strengthen governance. The role requires strong stakeholder influence, practical problem solving and a relevant business qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise risk, compliance or internal audit.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong risk analysis and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex risks into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Experience driving change, continuous improvement and stronger governance.
• A relevant tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline.

Your role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk Advisory, you'll be a trusted adviser to senior leaders across your portfolio, connecting enterprise risk strategy with operational delivery. You'll work closely with teams to understand their priorities, identify where risks could arise and find practical ways to manage them. From assessing business change to addressing control weaknesses, you'll help turn risk insights into action and build teams' confidence to manage risk effectively. This will include:

• Leading risk assessments across strategic initiatives and business change.
