Tabcorp is seeking a Risk Partner to influence risk shaping across a highly regulated business. You will advise senior leaders, connect enterprise risk strategy with delivery and embed risk ownership in daily operations.

You’ll lead risk assessments, review events for root causes, and strengthen controls, while coaching teams to build risk capability and improve governance across wagering, media, technology and retail segments.

Formación

• Experience in enterprise risk, compliance or internal audit.

Your role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk Advisory, you’ll be a trusted adviser to senior leaders across your portfolio, connecting enterprise risk strategy with operational delivery. You’ll work closely with teams to understand their priorities, identify where risks could arise and find practical ways to manage them. From assessing business change to addressing control weaknesses, you’ll help turn risk insights into action and build teams’ confidence to manage risk effectively. This will include:

• Partnering with leaders to embed risk and compliance practices into business planning and everyday operations.
• Leading risk assessments across strategic initiatives and business change.
• Reviewing significant risk events to identify root causes and practical improvement opportunities.
• Strengthening business ownership of risk registers, controls and action plans.
• Preparing clear risk insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Coaching Risk Advisors and building risk capability across teams.

What you’ll need to succeed

You understand how to make risk advice useful to the business—bringing sound judgement, commercial awareness and practical solutions to complex challenges. You build credibility quickly, ask the right questions and have the confidence to challenge constructively. You’ll also bring:
