Brisbane Catholic Education Office, Burpengary, invites applications for a Risk, Compliance and Workplace Health and Safety Officer at St Eugene College. This role focuses on advising, implementing and maintaining risk, compliance and WHS systems to ensure legal and regulatory adherence within a Catholic school setting.

The successful candidate will lead policy updates, support staff and students, and facilitate risk assessments for school events, while engaging stakeholders on WHS performance

Qualifications

• Experience in developing, maintaining and improving school operations.
• Strong understanding of legislation, regulations and guidelines for a school context.
• Ability to communicate policy updates clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and reporting on risk and compliance tasks.

Responsabilités

• Oversee development, maintenance and operation of risk/compliance systems.
• Develop and interpret school regulations and procedures.
• Advise staff, students and community on policy updates and publish via channels.
• Facilitate risk/compliance tasks and reporting for school events.
• Advise on risk assessments by responsible staff for events.
